Daphne Greengrass clunked her fork repeatedly against her plate as she stared over at the Gryffindor table. Tiffany Malfoy, huh? Since when did Draco have a sister? she thought, her dark eyes boaring into the back of the blonde girl. Daphne noticed that she seemed to be getting along fairly well with the newest Weasley. She smirked. Draco's gonna have a fit.

Tiffany nodded. "I figured as much, I doubt any of them could purposely defeat a troll, after all, they ARE only second years." She felt a twinge in the back of her brain, someone was staring at her, and it wasn't just Draco this time. Great. she thought, I'm already drawing attention to myself. She sighed and addressed Ginny once more. "I'd better go see what Draco wants to whine about now..." She patted her wand inside her cloak pocket. "Hopefully it won't get messy." Tiffany stood up from the table and glanced at her brother meaningfully, nodding slightly and heading towards the corridor. She noticed another girl staring at her thoughtfully, she didn't recognize the girl, but the girl seemed to recognize Tiffany. Draco saw her nod and scrambled almost ungracefully from his bench to follow, drawing more attention to their movement then Tiffany desired. She grimaced as a few heads turned to see what Draco was getting up so quickly for, causing some whispering and pointing as they headed out the Great Hall together.

Ginny watched Tiffany leave the Great Hall, hoping Draco didn't do anything too drastic. She had only known Tiffany for the past hour, maybe, but Ginny was fairly certain Tiffany could be her brother at a duel. Patiently waiting for her friend to return, Ginny fidgeted with her plate of un-eaten food, hoping not to catch Percy's eye.

Draco turned swiftly to face Tiffany once they exited into the Corridor outside the Great Hall. He glowered at her calm face. "What did you do?" He spat. She raised one of her not quite perfectly shaped eyebrows at his outburst. "I didn't do anything brother dearest, whatever are you talking about?" she asked innocently. "You told the hat not to put you in Slytherin!" he fumed. She noticed he kept his hand close to his wand. She kept her arms folded in front of her. "I did nothing of the sort. That silly hat put me in Gryffindor because that's where I belong. Besides, you yourself know I hate mold. That dreary dungeon common room would be the death of me." She shrugged. "I'd much rather live in a tower anyhow." He glowered at her as he started pacing quickly in front of her as she leaned silently against the wall seemingly at ease. "How are you going to deal with mum and dad then? They'll disown you if they find out." He sputtered, one of his delicately greased back hairs falling into his face. Tiffany smirked. "Disowning me would be the best thing they could do for me at this point. Besides, I'm a disgrace to the family name aren't I? You've said so yourself." Draco stopped pacing to look straight at her. "Just because you're different then the rest of us doesn't mean I want you associating with those mudbloods and homeless wenches. If you're stuck in that pathetic house you might as well show those Gryffindors that Malfoys can be just as well in their high and mighty tower as they can be in the Slytherin dungeons." He slid his wand out of his pocket and tapped the end on his hand. "Just let me know if any of them try and mess with you. Just cause you're stuck in Gryffindor doesn't mean you don't have Slytherin firepower."

(ooc: Liz's phone calls are distracting!! >_<)
Daphne tapped her finger on the table after seeing the Malfoys leave. She glanced back over at the Gryffindor table, where the Weasley girl was still sitting, then looked at the doors of the Great Hall again. Cautiously, as to not draw attention like Draco had, she stood and left the table, planning on following the siblings. She wasn't aware they were standing just outside the door. "Oh!" Daphne exclaimed, nearly knocking into Tiffany. "I, uh....sorry? I didn't...Sorry if I interupted the two of you.." Her voice trailed off.

As the seconds stretched to minutes, Ginny began getting antsy. She could feel Percy watching her from across the table. What could be taking those two so long? Draco wasn't going to hurt Tiffany, was he? Could he? Would he? Ginny couldn't imagine Draco with a heart, but she also couldn't imagine any brother hurting his sister. Ginny flashed a look toward the door to the Great Hall, hoping to see Tiffany comeing back in.

Tiffany was startled by the sudden intrusion of the Slytherin girl she'd seen before. She collected herself quickly though, turning away from Draco slightly as if he wasn't important. "You're fine, he's just whining again about not having his own way. And you are?" She addressed the newcomer, looking her up and down curiously.

(ooc: *is STILL listening to Liz* Quadruple-tasking is hard...)
Daphne gave an amused sideways glance at Draco before turning her attention to his sister. "Daphne Greengrass," she said proudly, holding out her hand to Tiffany. "No need to introduce youself. I think everyone is aware who you are."

(ooc: What is Liz going on about? Is she complaining about me or something? Lol)
Draco glared at both the girls, hoping his message was sinking into his sister's brain. Tiffany ignored his incorerent grumblings and set her focus on Daphne. "Ah, pleasure to meet you. I'm aware everyone knows me, it's not really fair though, I don't know barely anyone around here." She rolled her eyes in an unladylike manner. "Unlike THIS one over here." She jabbed her thumb backwards towards Draco who gave a slight flinch.

(ooc: Lol, nah. It was just random nonsense.
Gah! My computer keeps freezing! I can only type for about 10 seconds before everything locks and I have to wait a minute for it to start working again! >_<)
Daphne laughed. "Oh, is has to be torture knowing him," the girl said with a mischievious grin. She glanced at Draco again. "No offense." "So, Tiffany. Why is it that no one has heard of the forth Malfoy until now?" Daphne asked, realizing too late that the question may have come out as rather rude.

Tiffany smirked slightly. "They don't like to talk about me." She sighed. "I'm not exactly the family favorite." She glanced meaningfully over her shoulder at Draco who averted her gaze guiltily. She turned to look at Daphne again, "Doesn't matter now though, plenty of people know about me now." She laughed slightly to herself as she realized she was a Gryffindor standing in an abandoned hallway with two Slytherins, most Gryffindors in her spot would be very wary in this situation, but she felt totally unthreatened by the situation. What house she was in, and what house they were in, really didn't seem to matter to her.

(ooc: Yeah, Kileen. Come rescue us! I'm TOTALLY stuck. And I don't want to drag on a paragraph all about Daphne just standing there not knowing what to say next. I can't think of anything; I blame it on Daphne's lack of character developement!)

Ginny couldn't help but glance at the door every few seconds as the feast lingered on and on and on for what seemed like an eternity. For some reason, Tiffany and Draco had not returned. Finally, mercifully, the feast was ended, and prefects began calling to first years. Ginny followed her brother, Percy out of the Great Hall. Or at least, she would have had there not been an obnoxious traffic jam blocking the great old doors. This annoyed Ginny very much for reasons she almost couldn't explain until she finally began to squeeze through the packed bodies of Hufflepuffs and Gryffindors and Ravenclaws. As she reached the entrance, it became apparent that the reason for the hold-up was Tiffany, Draco, and another girl Ginny had never seen standing just outside the door. The people in front were gaping at the trio openly.
Ginny's mind spun, thinking fast. What could she do to save her new friend? Finally it came to her. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a trick of Fred and George's. It was only a prototype, but it was better than nothing. She flung it into the air, and it released a brilliant but odorous glimmering powder. She ducked into it and pulled Tiffany out of the scene behind the doors, hoping the others might follow out of some sense of self-preservation.

Tiffany was wisked away as a large cloud of shimmering powder developed around them. She coughed as the unknown someone pulled her away from the awkward scene. She was grateful to them, but extremely confused about what was happening. Finally she managed to get a look at the bright red hair streaming out from behind her "kidnappers" figure. She smiled, it seemed that her new found friend had saved her from Draco's attempted intimidation.
